JESSIE J. MORRIS Nov. 6, 1912-Nov. 21, 2005 Jessie J. Morris, age 93, of McCordsville, Ind. passed away November 21, 2005 at St. John's Health System in Anderson, Ind. He was born November 6, 1912 in Wayne County, Ky. the son of the late George W. and Mary Belle Morris. On January 15, 1938 he married Lucille Bertram who survives. He is survived by one son-Don Morris of Somerset, Ky; one daughter-Brenda Caudell of Fortville, Ind.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and one granddaughter. He retired from Chrysler Corp. in 1977. He co-owned Morris Bros. Grocery in New Castle, Ind. He was a member of the United Auto Workers. He was a member of McCordsville United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Friday, November 25, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Gravel Lawn Cemetery. Seals Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
