Fiscal Court, Sheriff's Dept. receives $34,650 grant The Wayne County Fiscal Court and the Wayne County Sheriff's Department have received a grant award of $34,650 for the purchase of night vision and thermal imaging equipment. The county received final approval and authorization to proceed with the equipment purchase in a letter from the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security on November 23. The money should equip each of the sheriff's patrol cars with either night vision or thermal imaging equipment. Add a comment |
