VIRGIL LEE BELL Feb. 27, 1913-Dec. 2, 2005 Virgil Lee Bell, age 92, of the Coopersville community of Wayne County, Ky., passed away Friday, December 2, 2005 at his home. He was born February 27, 1913, the son of the late Thomas Milton and Dora Coffey Bell. He married Lillie Lewis Bell who preceded him in death in 2002. He is survived by three daughters-Rina Kay Pyles, Karen Burnett and Andrea Shane Abbott; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by three sisters-Myrtle Prater, Pearl Winchester, and Estelle Gregory; four brothers-Willie, Tolbert, Leonard, and Denver Bell. He was a member of Canada's Creek Baptist Church. He retired from the timber industry and was the owner of Bell's General Store. Funeral services were held Monday, December 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Morrow officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery.
