SHELLY "SHELL" MCGINNIS Apr. 11, 1913-Dec. 7, 2005 Shelly "Shell" McGinnis, age 92, passed away December 7, 2005 at Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Ky. He was born April 11, 1913, the son of the late Willie and Edna Lowe McGinnis. He married Vannie Abbott McGinnis who preceded him in death November 19, 2000. He is survived by two daughters-Teresa Hart of Monticello, Ky. and Lena Francis of Louisville, Ky.; one son-Herbert McGinnis of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister-Linda Jane Smith; one brother-Shelby McGinnis; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons-Sam, Champ and Robert McGinnis; four sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 10, 2005 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne Bowling and Bro. Johnny Davis officiating. Burial was in the Upchurch Cemetery at Forbus, Tenn. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
