EDNA ABBOTT RAMSEY June 9, 1922-Jan. 1, 2006 Edna Abbott Ramsey, age 83, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Sunday, January 1, 2006 at Golden Years Nursing Home, in Monticello, Ky. She was born June 9, 1922 in Wayne County, Ky. the daughter of William Abbott and Edith Hicks Abbott, who preceded her in death. She married William Everett Ramsey who survives. She is survived by three daughters-Margaret McCutchen, Sue Robinette and Freda Matthews all of Monticello, Ky.; one sister-Minda Sproles of Indianapolis, Ind.; ten grandchildren; four step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son-William Riley Ramsey. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Koger Ramsey officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
