Poore arrested on drug trafficking charges A Wayne County man has been arrested by Operation UNITE on drug trafficking charges. According to a statement issued by Operation UNITE, Forrest Shawn Poore, 24, was picked up on an indictment warrant at Horse Hollow Apartments on Thursday, February 9. Poore was charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine) and trafficking in marijuana under eight ounces. "This is the first of several arrests to come in Wayne County," said Joel Cunagin, Cumberland Task Force manager for UNITE. Assisting with the arrest were members of the Lake Cumberland Area Drug Task Force, Monticello Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Department. Poore was processed at the Monticello Police Department, then lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $25,000 cash bond. Add a comment |
