WILMA MCKAY DAVIS Aug. 12, 1914-Feb. 16, 2006 Wilma McKay Davis, age 91, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006 at Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Ky. She was born August 12, 1914 in Clinton County, Ky., the daughter of the late Johnny and Vina Wynn Lyons. She married Walter McKay, who preceded her in death in 1974. She is survived by four children-Mary Elizabeth "Boots" Gossage, Carolyn Powell, Earl McKay and Bill McKay; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her second husband-Harlon Davis; one twin son-Walter Don McKay; and one granddaughter. She has accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Monticello United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 19, 2006 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jim Savage officiating. Burial was in Piercy Cemetery. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
