Burchett has been found competent to stand trial A Clinton County man, accused of murder in connection with the death of his parents, has been found competent to stand trial. An order entered in Clinton Circuit Court on February 11 states that Jonathan Burchett is competent to stand trial in the deaths of his parents, Ronnie and Charlonia Burchett. According to the order, Burchett was evaluated at the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Treatment Center in May 2005. The order stated that the evaluation found that Burchett "is capable of rationally cooperating with his attorney in his own defense." Add a comment |
