LIZZIE ANN WALKER DUNAGAN Mar. 11, 1909-Mar. 11, 2006 Lizzie Ann Walker Dunagan, age 97, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006. She was born in the Cedar Hill community on March 11, 1909, the daughter of Richard Burnett Walker and Loretta Jane New Walker, who preceded her in death. On January 13, 1929 she married Earl Franklin Dunagan, who preceded her in death December 27, 1991. She is survived by three children-Richard Dunagan, Wilma Turpin, and Reva Cross, all of Monticello, Ky.; two sisters-Roxie Gossage and Opal Corder, seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children-Donald Dean Dunagan, and a set of infant twins; three sisters-Bertha Gibson, Ada Alton and Flonnie Simpson; four brothers-Ernie, Lucian, Hubert and Obie Walker; and one grandson. She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dewey Burks officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
