Trial date set for Bertram A trial date has been set for next April for Emma Bertram. Bertram, who has been charged with murder in connection with the May 2005 death of Eric Adkins, appeared in Wayne Circuit Court on Tuesday, June 6 for an assignment hearing in the case. Circuit Judge Vernon Miniard, Jr. set aside April 25-27, 2007 for the trial. Adkins died in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on KY 1275. Bertram was the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident. Add a comment |
