One arrested following shooting incident
One man was injured and another was arrested following the investigation into a shooting incident Sunday at the Beaver Creek Trailer Park.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, Randall Stumbo, Rt. 3, Monticello, was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of first degree assault and five counts of wanton endangerment first degree. Mike Kelley was treated at the scene by the Wayne County EMS and transported to the Wayne County Hospital. Sheriff James Lynn Hill said that Kelley was expected to be transferred to another hospital for treatment of injuries.
Hill and Deputy Tommy Spencer responded to the scene. The investigation is continuing.
