Monticello Electric Plant Board service set to be off
Electricity in the Monticello Electric Plant Board service area will be off for approximately five hours on July 8-9 for substation repairs. The electricity will go off at about midnight on Thursday, July 8 and will remain off until about 5 a.m. on July 9.
Wayne County Emergency Management Director Bubby Corder noted that any local residents who are affected by the power outage and who are on home oxygen or home dialysis should make prior arrangements with their medical supplier or doctor.
