NINA SLAGLE Jun. 13, 1928-June 21, 2004 Nina Slagle, age 76, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Monday, June 21, 2004 at Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Ky. She was born June 13, 1928 in Wayne County, Ky., the daughter of the late William “Bill” Bertram and Artie Bertram. She married Herschel Slagle, who survives. She is survived by two children-Gaylon McGinnis of Monticello, Ky. and Rita Brown of Knoxville, Tenn.; four siblings-Roscoe Bertram, Ima Hancock, Arzella Hill and Eva Tuggle, all of Monticello, Ky.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Preceding her in death was nine siblings-Ed Bertram, Belva Bertram, Ollie Bertram, Billy Bertram, Bertha Dameron, Mattie Stephenson, Hattie Reese, James Bertram and Chester Bertram. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Danny Bell officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S.
