Marijuana plants seized
Members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department seized over 100 plants of marijuana in the Windy community of Wayne County last weekend.
On Saturday, July 3, Wayne County Sheriff James Lynn Hill along with Deputies Terry Davis and Wayne Conn seized 112 plants of marijuana in five separate plots from the Windy community.
According to Sheriff Hill, the case will be presented to the Wayne County Grand Jury in an effort to seek indictments for cultivating marijuana over five plants, a class D felony.
