RUSSELL KENNERLY RAMSEY Sept. 12, 1934-July 4, 2004 Russell Kennerly Ramsey, age 69, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. He was born on September 12, 1934, in Monticello, Ky., the son of the late William and Pearl Barnes Ramsey. He married Shirley Rose Vernon, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter-Shirley J. Stempson; one sister-Betty Ramsey Ford; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; four step-great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death is one brother-Rex Ramsey; and two sisters-Opal Ramsey Lawless and Orena Ramsey. While in the Army, he was stationed in Germany. After receiving his honorable discharge he moved to Indianapolis where he married his wife and remained a resident for the rest of his life. He was employed by Wrecks, Inc. for 35 years. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Entombment will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Ind.
