Gover files for re-election
Dr. David Gover, a member of the Wayne County Board of Education, has filed for re-election to his Division One seat.
Gover is the only candidate who has filed so far for local non-partisan elections that will appear on the November ballot. Several school board seats at Wayne County and Monticello will be on the ballot this fall, as well as all six seats on the Monticello City Council.
The filing deadline for these positions will be Tuesday, August 10 at 4 p.m.
