Dolen arrested for probation violation Melodie Phelps News Editor The driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal crash in Wayne County on August 12 has been arrested for probation violation. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested Eric S. Dolen, 25 on a bench warrant for probation violation. Dolen was the driver of a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer which left KY 92 and struck a tree. A passenger in the vehicle, Amanda Slaven Rose, 22, died from injuries sustained in the one-vehicle accident. Dolen refused treatment at the scene of the accident, but was taken to the local hospital by a deputy for a blood test, which is standard procedure in an injury accident. Dolen was cited for no insurance and expired registration receipt. Officials have indicated that further charges could be filed in the case, pending blood test results from the Kentucky State Police lab. Add a comment |
