ELZIE MARIE ROBERTS RAMSEY Aug. 12, 1912-Aug. 9, 2004 Elzie Marie Roberts Ramsey, age 91, passed away Monday, August 9, 2004. She was born August 12, 1912 in the Frazer community, the daughter of the late Luther Finley and Nonnie Zelma Weaver Roberts. She married Harold Eades Ramsey, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two children-Virginia Denney and Eugene Ramsey; two sisters-Neva Roberts and Mary Zelma Koger; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. As a young lady Mrs. Ramsey accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Monticello First Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Coy Webb officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and First Baptist Church. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Add a comment |
