FREE FOREST STEWARDSHIP PLANS FOR PRIVATE WOODLAND OWNERS
The Kentucky Division of Forestry prepares Forest Stewardship Plans for private woodland owners as a free service.
At your request, a forester will walk over your property with you while explaining the condition of your woodland and listening to your objectives. The forester will then make recommendations to help you set and achieve management goals for your forestland. The recommendations will be summarized in the Forest Stewardship Plan which will include information on timber production, fish and wildlife management and management for recreation, aesthetics and water quality.
If you are interested in improving your forestland economically and ecologically call the Division of Forestry in Campbellsville at 1-800-866-1007.
SIT AND SEW
Contented Heart Quilt Guild will have a "Sit and Sew" day each first Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Quilt Shoppe. Anyone is invited to come for an hour or so and bring a project to work on.
