2-23-11 —     Two people were arrested on Wednesday, February 9, when two separate  

search warrants were executed by officers with Operation UNITE.

    The first search warrant was executed at 105 Lincoln Avenue, where  

officers seized amounts of marijuana and cash.

    Tony Lee Thomas, 38, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a  

controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school.

    The second search warrant was executed at 229 Trailer #4 Hunters  

Court, where officers also seized marijuana and cash.

    William Thomas Decker, 20, was arrested and charged with trafficking  

in a controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school.

    Assisting at both residences were the Monti-cello Police Department,  

the Wayne County Sheriff's Department and District One Constable  

Robert Riddle.

    Warrants were prepared with the assistance of the Wayne County  

Attorney's Office.
