7-21-10 — The Wayne County Middle School football season is around the corner, as practice will start on Tuesday night July 20, at 5:30 p.m. All players must have a sports physical before practice starts to be eligible to practice opening night.
“We need everyone that wants to play to come out for our first week of practice. We play our opening game on August 13, so we must make the most of every day we have to work to improve. Anyone in the middle school may come out to play, but they do need come to our first meeting so we can get everybody organized and on the same page,” said Wayne County Middle head coach Shannon Hutchinson.
Anyone with questions may call Coach Hutchinson at (606) 348-6399, or show up at 5:30 p.m. on the July 20 at Wayne County High School’s Jewell Field.
