THOMAS GUY SANFORD

June 28, 1944-June 29, 2009

Thomas Guy Sanford, age 65, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington after an extended illness.

He was born June 28, 1944 in Anderson, Ind., the son of the late Guy and Louise Wolski Sanford.

He is survived by his wife-Barbara Sue Bach Sanford of Monticello, Ky.; two children-Melissa and Donald Young of Pendleton, Ind. and Christopher Sanford of Markleville, Ind.; two grandchildren-Alexis Young and Kalyn Sanford; sister-Jeanne Jones of Dacula, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

He retired from General Motors in the late 90's after 30 years of service.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 2, 2009 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Burial followed at Elk Spring Cemetery.

Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
