EUGENE DUNCAN

July 26, 1937-Oct. 25, 2007

Eugene Duncan, age 70, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospice of the Bluegrass.

He was born July 26, 1937 in Monticello, Ky., the son of the late Andrew and Sarah Jones Duncan.

He married Brenda Davis, who survives.

He is survived by one daughter-Abbagail Duncan.

He is also survived by two brothers-Mack and Andrew Duncan; and three sisters-Gertrude Duncan, Ophelia Wilson and Gladys Peters.

He was preceded in death by three brothers-Jack, Charles and Fred Duncan; and one sister-Davie Marie Alford.

He joined the U.S. Navy and served his country for 20 years and retired as Chief Petty Officer.

Memorial services were held Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phillip Duncan officiating.
