HATTIE MAE DISHMAN EDWARDS

Sept. 10, 1913-Dec. 18, 2009

Hattie Mae Dishman Edwards, age 96, passed away Friday, December 18,

2009 at her lifelong home in the Powersburg Community.

She was born September 10, 1913, the daughter of the late Bessie Dishman Denney.

On September 2, 1930 she united in marriage with Hershal Roscoe Edwards, who passed away December 3, 1989.

To this 59 year union three children survive-Margie Hancock, Maxine

(husband-Robie) Rednour and Kenneth (wife-Edna) Edwards; 13 grandchildren;

33 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her children-Madge Davis and Donald Edwards.

She had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and was a lifetime member of the Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church where she was the eldest member.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Gary Stinson and Bro. Earnest Mann officiating. Burial followed at Edwards Chapel Cemetery.
