Bobby Donald Rednour, age 72, of Monticello, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in the Hospice Suite of the Wayne County Hospital. He was born in the Big Sinking community of Wayne County on May 26, 1941 the son of the late Charlie and Della Marie Bell Rednour.
On October 12, 1968 he was united in marriage with Jewell Dean (Neal) Rednour, who survives.
Also surviving is his son—Terry Rednour as well as one sister—Norma Sue Simpson; and three brothers—Troy, Willard and Ronald Rednour, all of Monticello. Two sisters—Joyce Ann and Velta Maxine Rednour preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior February 20, 2013. He was a dedicated Kingsford Charcoal employee, retiring in 2002 after 35 years of service. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was loving husband, a devoted father and a loyal friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Keith McKim officiating. Burial was in the Grant Roberts Cemetery.
