7-17-13 — Jan. 28, 1925—July 5, 2013

Earshel Marie “Carrender” Lowe was born January 28, 1925 and

departed this life Friday, July 5, 2013 reaching the age of 88. She

was the daughter of the late Bob Carrender and Stella (Crabtree)

Carrender.

She is survived by four sons—Robert, Johnny (wife Bonnie), Tinker

(wife Sandy), and Terry Lowe; two daughters—Dora Ann Davis (husband

Jackie), and Eugenia Lewis (husband Tommy); three brothers—Kay, Duke,

and David Carrender; and four sisters—Elnora Bertram, Artemis Mikel,

Della Patton and Yvonne Chriswell.

She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren;

and three great —great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son—Jimmy Dale Lowe; two

grandchildren—Matthew Gregory and Gregory Bryant Lowe; seven brothers—

Lee, Rex, Ray, Bruce, Howard, Randy, and Porter Carrender; and two

sisters—Isabelle Morris and Priscilla Davis.

She was a mother and grandmother with unconditional love for her

children, grandchildren, family, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the

funeral home chapel with Bro. Clyde Adkins officiating. Burial was in

the Elk Spring Cemetery.
