7-17-13 — Nov. 15, 1944—July 8, 2013

Donald Steven Hiner Sr. ,was born Nov. 15 ,1944 in Warsaw, Ind. to

the late Donald Nye and Sybil Estes Hiner and passed away Monday,

July 8, 2013 at his home, reaching the age of 68 years.

On August 27, 1966 he united in marriage to Helen Beard Hiner,

who survives and to this union five children survive— Shelly Roberts,

Donald Jr. and wife Meredith, Richard and wife Jennifer, Jeff and

wife Linda and Greg Hiner. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and

two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his only brother—Terry Lynn Hiner, who

passed away in 2002.

He served his country in the United States Navy and came home and

worked in the automotive industry for thirty years. He had accepted

Christ and was a member of the Methodist Church in Indiana.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 12 in the Funeral Home

Chapel with Bro. Koger Ramsey officiating. Burial was in the Jones

Cemetery on the American Legion Road. Hickey &Son Funeral Home was in

charge of arrangements.
