    Hazel Rains, age 69, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Tuesday, March 12,

2013 at Clinton County Hospital in Albany, Ky.

    She was united in marriage to Eugene Rains and to this union one child was born.

    She is survived by three grandchildren, Chastity, Chelsea, and Chasten Adams; two brothers‹Leonard and Klemons Owens; and four sisters‹Dorothy Shelton, Ruby Marcum, Viola Hancock, and Jean Gregory.

    In addition to her parents‹Vernon and Matilda Owens, she was preceded in death by  her husband‹Eugene Rains; her daughter‹Tammy Rednour; and one brother‹Cecil Owens.

    Funeral services were held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jeff Bertram officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
