12-29-10 —   Board members for the Monticello Utility Commission met for their 

monthly meeting on Tuesday, December 14. During the meeting, board  members approved the year-end pay adjustments for utility commission  employees.

    In other action, the board discussed replacing a vehicle that was 

damaged in a recent accident. The board authorized Gene Jones,  

manager of the utility commission, to replace the vehicle after he  

received payment from the insurance company.

    In other news, the board:

    • discussed putting in a water connection from Highway 1009 and West KY 90.

    • was informed that utility commission employees did the first cycle 

on their statements in-house recently.

    • heard a report from Gene Jones. He noted that utility commission 

employees had changed one of the meters at the park to help with some  problems that the park had been having.

    • heard departmental reports for November.
