7-13-11 — Wayne County students who were part of the 21st Century summer

program got to experience a hot air balloon liftoff last week, as the

program ended. The balloon was tethered on the lawn of the middle

school and a hot air balloon pilot from Bowling Green instructed

students on the balloon liftoff. Students then launched their own

model hot air balloons which they had made in class.
