    Shirley Harper, age 58, of Kings Mountain, Ky., passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home in Kings Mountain, Ky.

    She was born October 11, 1952 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Dillard and Callie Lee (Franklin) Poore.

    She was united in marriage to John Harper; who survives her in death.

    She is survived by one son-Jimmy Casada; one daughter-Sheila Hardwick; one step-son-Jeffrey Harper;  one step-daughter-Sheila Kay Hampton; four brothers-Freddie Franklin, James, Paul, and Carl Poore;  five sisters-Margie Catron, Alene Johnson, Lois June Barge, Reba Hardwick, and Darlene Herb; four grandchildren-Callie and Chloe Casada, Amanda Kidd, and Joshua Hardwick; one great grandchild-Breyden Cole Hardwick;  four step-grandchildren-Latasha Wesley, Dustin and Cody Hampton, and Courtney Harper; four step-great-grandchildren-Michael Wesley, Preston Coffey, Octavia Anderson, and Aiden Hampton.

    Funeral services were held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Anson Perkins officiating. Burial was in the Cabell Grove Cemetery.
