    Beatrice Brown, age 82, of Bardstown, Ky., passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at her home.

    She was born April 30, 1928 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Hulan Stringer and Becky Brown.

    She was united in marriage to Charlie ³Doodle² Brown, who preceded her in death.

    She is survived by four sons-Charlie ³Junior² Brown, Larry Gene Brown, Darrell Lee Brown, and Forrest Gene Brown; three daughters-Myrtle Ann Riggs, Wilma Lowe Johnson, and Barbara Ellen Brown; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by two brothers-Paul Randall and Franklin ³Dee² Brown; one sister-Kathryn Rigney Shelton;  and one grandchild.

    Funeral services were held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Hollars officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
