7-7-10 — A Monticello man was arrested on Tuesday, June 22, following an investigation into a stabbing incident which occurred earlier this month on Ridgewood Avenue.
According to Monticello Police Chief Ralph Miniard, Matthew L. Brown, 21, was charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery and criminal attempt to commit murder.
He was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
Brown is the second person arrested in connection with the Ridgewood Avenue stabbing.
The investigation is continuing with additional suspects being investigated.
