Monticello — The Wayne County High School JROTC and FCA are once again teaming up to
feed the shut-ins and less fortunate of Wayne County on Thanksgiving Day.
The students will prepare a meal in the high school cafeteria,
consisting of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, peas, and dressing.
This year the group encourages anyone who has transportation to either
come to the high school to eat or pick up their meals.
In addition, the students will be delivering meals to those who cannot
come to the high school.
The meals will be served and delivered between the hours of 10 a.m. and
noon on Thanksgiving Day.
If you or anyone you know would benefit from a hot meal and some
Thanksgiving cheer, please contact Karen Campbell or Stephanie Robinette at
the Wayne County High School by November 23.
Call (606) 348-5575 to make reservations.
