The annual Veterans Day Parade will be held on Monday, November 12

beginning at 10 a.m. The procession will begin at the Hickey and Son Funeral

Home and will end at the Doughboy.

The Veterans Day ceremony will be held at the Doughboy. There will be

special singing, and both local high school bands will play. There will be

special speakers and Greg Dearborn, DAV State Commander, will be the keynote

speaker.

The parade is sponsored by Wayne County Disabled American Veterans and

the Wayne County JROTC. Golf carts will be available for any veterans who

are unable to walk the parade route.

Everyone is encouraged to come out and pay tribute to our veterans.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the National

Guard Armory.

After the parade, all veterans are invited to a chili dinner at the

National Guard Armory.
