DONA DAVIS CARROLL

Dona Davis Carroll, age 86, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010 in Goshen, Indiana.

She was born February 23, 1923, in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Elisha and Sally Winchester Davis.

She was united in marriage with Herbert Carroll, who preceded her in death.

To this union eleven children survive-Susie Abbott, Georgia Perdue, Wanda Miller, Angie Miller, Bobby, Tom, Jimmy, Leonard, Earl, Osbie and Randy Carroll; 36 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her daughter-Sally Perkins; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild; one sister-Georgia Haynes; and one brother-Tommy Davis.

She had accepted Christ as her Lord and was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship of Monticello.

Funeral service were held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Terry Muncie and Bro. Kelvin Upchurch officiating.

Burial followed in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
