GLADYS DENNEY

Gladys Denney, age 82, of LaGrange, Ky., passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Baptist Hospital NE, in LaGrange, Ky.

She was born April 6, 1927 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Harrison and Minnie (Brown) Bowlin.

She married Boyd Denney, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters-Cathy Thompson and Elaine Gordon; one sister-Louise Criswell; three grandchildren-Ian Thompson, Cornelia and Antonia Gordon; and one great-grandchild-Isabella Thompson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers-Mitchell and Guy Bowlin; and two siblings who died in infancy.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Gage officiating. Burial followed in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
