Monticello — Sep. 1, 1942-Apr. 9, 2010

Susie Opal Sexton, age 67, was born in Wayne County, September 1, 1942 the daughter of the late Dewey and Eliza Kidd Sexton. She departed this life, Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

She is survived by her son, Gary and his wife Vicky Gregory of Monticello. Her son Richard Gregory passed away in March of 2006.

Also surviving are five grandchildren-Matthew, Samantha, Michael, Angela and Jacob Gregory; four great- grandchildren; four siblings-Zadie Samuell, Sue Bullock, Carl Sexton and Ozie Phillips.

Her brother Raymond Sexton precedes her in death.

She had accepted Christ as her Savior as a a young lady and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at the time of her passing.

The funeral service was held Monday at the Cedar Hill Baptist Church with Bro. J.S. New and Bro. Dale Rose officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
