    John Denver Burnett, age 69, was born in the Mt. Pisgah community of Wayne County, Ky. on December 30, 1940, the son of the late Wilbur and Lela Burnett. He passed away Wednesday morning, May 5, 2010 at the Britthaven Nursing Home in Somerset, Ky.

    He is survived by his brother-Kenneth Ray and his wife Brenda Burnett.

    Also surviving is his niece-Linda Sue Burnett; nephew-David Ray and his wife Melinda Burnett; and great niece-Emma Brooke Burnett; with many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

    He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a lifelong member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

    The funeral service was held Saturday morning in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Curtis Burnett and Bro. Jason Bertram officiating. Burial was in the Burnett Family Cemetery.
