    Stella M. Simpson, age 70, of Muncie, Ind. died Friday June, 18, 2010 at her residence. She was born on September 15, 1939 in Monticello, Ky. the daughter of Reuben and Lova (Vaughn) Kidd.

    She married Kenneth G. Simpson on December 10, 1957.

    She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She was a a very giving and caring person. She also enjoyed her pet dogs, cooking and shopping.

    Surviving relatives include her husband-Kenneth G. Simpson of Muncie, Ind.; one son-Kenny Simpson (Linda) of Muncie, Ind.; one daughter-Lynetta Messer (Richard) of Muncie, Ind.; one sister-Patricia Ann New (Edward) of Monticello, Ky..; four grandchildren-Amy Simpson (Daniel Huerta), Kenny Simpson (Brandy Duncan); Jonathan Crouch (Kimberly Vela);  Andrew Meser all of Muncie, Ind.; five great-grandchildren-Gracie Simpson, Bailey Dalton, Brooklyn Huerta, Tyler Simpson, and Seth Simpson.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

    Funeral services were held Monday, June 21, 2010  at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Hoyt Davis officiating. Burial was in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
