LEE DENNEY

Lee Denney, age 84, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at his home in Monticello, Ky.

He was born November 13, 1924 in Monticello, Ky., the son of the late Grant and Hattie (Guffey) Denney.

He married Mazzie Coffey, who preceded him in death. He later married Hazel Spears, who survives. He is survived by two sons-Bobby Denney of Livingston, Tenn. and Roger Denney of Indianapolis, Ind.; one daughter-Betty

Bolyard of Indiana; one brother-Richard Denney of Somerset, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers-Clint, Ed, and Albert Denney; and three sisters-Elsie Denney, Lula Coffey, and Lena Hunt.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Byron Creech and Bro. Oral Denney officiating. Burial followed in Elk Spring Cemetery.
