Monticello — Jan. 17, 1928-Mar. 7, 2010

Hubert Smith, age 82, of Frazer, Ky., passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somer-set, Ky.

He was born January 17, 1928 in Monti-cello, Ky., the son of the late Robert Henry and Zona (Jones) Smith.

He was united in marriage to Louise Hines for 62 years, who survives.

He is survived by three sons-Richard Smith of Frazer, Ky., Bruce

(Brenda) Smith of Louisville, Ky., and David (Debbie) Smith of Somerset, Ky.; one daughter-Sandra (Eddie) Bell; one brother-Charles (Donna) Smith; one sister-Edna Keith; 12 grandchildren-Richard Lee, Jr., Sam, Dawn, Tyler, Megan, Melissa, Scott, Molly, Greg, Bridget, Michael and Andrew; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son-Larry Dean Smith; one grandchild-Sabra Ann Smith; and three brothers-Harold, Bobby Gene and Tommy Smith.

He was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ulanda Price officiating. Burial followed in the Taylor Cemetery.
