ADA PEARLE MORROW

June 15, 1921-Dec. 19, 2009

Ada Pearle Morrow, age 88, a longtime resident of Hagerstown, Ind., passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Mill Springs, where she had resided the past five years.

She was born June 15, 1921 in Wayne County, Ky., the daughter of Luke and Becky (Burks) King.

On February 23, 1940, she married Elliott Morrow in Cedar Crest, who preceded her in death in 2004.

She is survived by five children-Helen (Raymond) Miller of Mill Springs, Billy (Marguerite) Morrow of Cambridge City, Ind., Terry (Margaret) Morrow of Hagerstown, Ind., Margaret Morrow of Mill Springs and Kevin (Julie) Morrow of Fountain City, Ind.; six grandchildren-Becky, Anna Marie, Elizabeth, Terry Allen, David and Jason; seven step-grandchildren-Chris, Jay, Imel, Sammy, Ellen, Murl and Lynn; 13 great-grandchildren-Jacob, Molly, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Sarah, Cassey, Lydia, Sidney, David Lee, Gage, Makenna, Myleigh and Branden.

She was preceded in death by one son-Hubert Ward Morrow; and one brother-Elsie King.

She lived much of her life in the Hagerstown area and was a member of Hagerstown First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hershel Watson officiating. Burial followed in the Brick Cemetery.
