10-20-10 — May 19, 1935-Oct. 6, 2010

    Kenneth Howard Carter, was born May 19, 1935 in Monticello, Ky., the son of the late Montie and Annie Carter. He passed away on October 6, 2010 at the age of 75 in Harrison, Ohio.

    He married Dolores (Sandling) Carter on June 2, 1956. To this union four wonderful children were born-Connie (Cleatus) Martin, Randy (Debbie) Carter, Mark Carter and the late Danny Lee Carter.

    Their family grew adding four grandchildren-Tana (John) Kushniroff, Tabitha (Nick) Fankhauser, Brandon and Lacy Carter; five great-grandchildren-Benjamin and Emma Kushniroff, Trey Collins, Kyler and Braden Frankhauser.

    He had three brothers-Russell, Gerald and David Carter; three sisters-Judy Dishman, Linda Doss and Sue Alley.

    He worked and retired from Kroger Company. He was a caretaker for his two sons and was a wonderful woodworker.

    Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

    Memorials to the family can be made through the funeral home for the benefit of Mark Carter.
