    Gladys Lorene Owens, age 50, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

    She was born August 1, 1959 in Monticello, Ky.; the daughter of the late Otto and Atterine (Abbott) Dishman.

    She married Jim Owens, who survives.

    She is survived by one son-Ben Powell; one daughter-Constance Powell;  one sister-Illa Jane Pyles;  four brothers-James Perk, Johnny, Homer Ray, and Jimmy Dishman.

    She was preceded in death by four brothers-Bill, Dee, Jack, and Hobert Dishman

    Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Koger Ramsey officiating. Burial was in the Dishman Cemetery.
