David K. Blankenship, age 60, passed away on August 24, 2010 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Ill.
He was the son of William (Bill) and Francis Blankenship, formerly of Monticello, Ky. now deceased.
He was an Airman in the U. S. Navy and served his country with honor.
Graveside services were held Friday, August 27 at the Mill Springs National Cemetery with Military Honors.
