OMER FROST

Omer Frost, age 89, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Wayne County Hospital.

He was born November 5, 1920 in Monticello, Ky.

He was the last surviving child of the late Hy and Ada (Daniel) Frost.

He married Ona Doss, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son-Tommy (Kristy) Frost; one daughter-Pam

(Eugene) Ramsey; two grandchildren-Luke and Amelia Frost; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother-Shelby Frost; and four sisters-Marie, Allene, Mamie and Ina.

He served honorably in the US Army during WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater from January 22, 1942 to October 3, 1945.

He was a loving father, grandfather, relative and friend that will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dewey Burks officiating. Burial followed in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
